My family and I (five adults) stayed for a week and the house was very comfortable and worked well for us. We enjoyed making s'mores in the firepit and time on the beach. It's in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice little home

Great little place to stay. Well designed for the space you had to work with. Easy access to the beach and the location was easy to get to. Fairfield is a great community! The only thing I would suggest is to have cleaning supplies available so that guests can clean as they go!

A Fairfield Beach Gem

LODGING OVERVIEW This lovely, two-story house features a very clean, airy and modern interior space with a generously sized living room for entertaining, a dining area and functional, galley-sized kitchen. 2 bathrooms for 4 bedrooms is not ideal, but certainly workable for a family. SUGGESTIONS TO THE HOST Since the house is located on the street and a row back from the beach, we did not know how to initially access the beach without trespassing through the private property of the homes that front the ocean. Specific directions should be provided on the best and most direct route to the beach. We wanted to use the fire pit, however no information was provided regarding the location of fire logs or, if needed, where to purchase them. The outdoor grill surface was quite filthy and in need of cleaning. That should have been done prior to our arrival. The inventory of drinking glasses desperately needs updating. Purchasing a new set of rock glasses, iced tea glasses and wine glasses should be a priority. Providing a couple of beach/sand chairs for use would be an appreciated convenience. A couple of bicycles for use by the guests would also be appreciated. This would allow guests to cycle and explore this lovely beach community. IN SUMMARY The above ‘Suggestions’ notwithstanding, we would definitely rent this house upon our return to Fairfield. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 representing an ‘Outstanding/Flawless’ experience, we would rate it an ‘8’. Thank you!

Great beach house

The house was clean and perfect for our family of six. We enjoyed grilling on the patio and sitting around the fire pit at night. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We had questions about the central air and the owners came over right away to assist us. We would definitely consider staying there again!

Lovely Beach House!

We thoroughly enjoyed our beach vacation. The house had everything we wanted/needed, very clean and nicely decorated and it was just a short walk to a private beach. Communication with the host was great. Highly recommend.

Elegant and easy.

This property is lovely and clean. Julie was helpful front start to finish. We did not have any issues with any aspect of this experience. Do not hesitate to rent this property if you are looking for a pleasant beach vacation in a great town with fabulous restaurants and a beach with a beautiful sandbar at low tide. Highly recommended!
