We stayed at this cozy little place the night we arrived in Papeete and again before flying out. The free airport shuttle was a lifesaver - staff were extremely friendly and did not hesitate to accommodate our 2 a.m. airport drop-off for our 4 a.m. flight. The rooms were simple but spotless, and it’s clear they put care into the decor - the beds were SO comfortable. Overall, a super convenient and welcoming stay!

We arrived on a later flight and there was a shuttle waiting to take us to the lodge (about a 5 min drive and check in was super eady). Our room was the separate casita on the property and close to a large communal outdoor kitchen that appeared to be fully stocked with coffee and tea for the morning. Staff were very friendly with fresh fruit and lei's on arrival. They offered to take us back to the airport the next morning to pick up our rental car, but we realized how close it was (15-18 min downhill) that we ended up walking.

We had a long layover so we decided to book a hotel near the airport. Communication before arrival was excellent and they responded quickly to our questions.. We arrived in the evening and later then expected due to a flight delay. Even with the delay, they had a shuttle waiting to pick us up. They also took us to the airport very easily in the morning the next day. Very pleased with the staff at the Lodge.

Cleanliness could be better. There was black hair clinging to the bathroom wall and the shower wasn’t really clean. The bedroom is very simple, it is one room partitioned off from an apartment. You can hear the other tenants use the toilet and move around/talk clearly. Not really sure why there are such good reviews, especially as value for money does not match. Breakfast was very good!

This property is not a lodge, it is a room in someone’s house. Photos are very misleading. There are no locks on the doors and we weren’t given any keys to lock the doors for our safety or security of our belongings. There was one sheet on the bed, no duvet or anything. Finally, there were a plethora of roosters in and around the property and we knew we would get no sleep. I hope Hotels.com removes this listing and more importantly I hope Hotels.com gives as a refund as we had to spend $600 to get a room at the Hilton Papeete.
