Crimora Mine Retreat is an upscale custom log home built on 150 acres of mountainside. Panoramic views, private lakes, and lakeside pavilion are exclusively yours for your stay. The home is tastefully appointed with high-end furniture, bedding, and artwork.

The gourmet kitchen boasts custom cabinets, granite countertops, Wolf oven, Subzero frig. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances and cooking utensils you will need for your stay.

The walkout basement game room has a granite topped bar with an icemaker, pool table, foosball, game table, flat screen TVs, and wood fireplace. Walk out to the lower deck seating area with hot tub.

The lakeside pavilion has an outdoor wood fireplace, kitchenette, bathroom, sound system, pool table, horseshoe pit, and kayaks/canoes.

The bedroom layout is as follows:

Master Bedroom- King bed, gas fireplace, private master bath with whirpool tub.
Two Queen Bedrooms- Two separate queen bedrooms share adjoining full bath
Basement Bedroom- Two twin beds and one double bed with full bath
Loft- Pull out sleeper sofa on upstairs loft

The woodland is teaming with wildlife: deer, bear, turkey, beavers, ducks, hawks and occasional eagle sightings. Crimora Mine Retreat overlooks the Shenandoah Valley with exceptional views and sunsets. There are many area attractions if you can leave this breathtaking property!
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. It looked great online, but it was even better than expected. Incredibly private and beautiful. The property was thoughtfully designed so that the lowest level flows down to the fire pit, which then flows down to the lake. We had 12 friends from two classes of our high school (ages 46-50 now). Lots of great spaces to hang out inside and out. The host, Megan, was responsive and everything was easy.

Gorgeous, secluded, and comfortable!

My siblings and I stayed for a week at this lovely house. We swam, kayaked, fished, and relaxed on the huge decks. On our walks we saw deer, turkey, egrets and more. The house sits on a small lake with clear, deep water, perfect for swimming. We cooked meals in the spacious kitchen and shopped in Waynesboro, which is only about 20 minutes away. Every night we watched incredible sunsets from the deck.If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing spot, this is the place!

Beautiful and relaxing property

We rented this house for a girls weekend and it was perfect! The house was so big, there were spaces we never used (like the basement game area). We enjoyed the large kitchen, the outdoor decks, the pavilion, and the views! It was quiet and beautiful. The house was well stocked and Megan was very responsive and helpful.
