We showed up during a rain storm. The owner was friendly and helpful. We stayed warm and dry even though it was chilly and wet out. The property was amazing. I can't wait to go back in the summer.
Great quick trip. Will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Overnight Stay for daughters 21 birthday
We were so excited for this stay at the Teepee resort! We were unable to stay overnight due to an emergency but the hosts were lovely! The property beautiful and quiet and serene!
I will say though that it was difficult to communicate prior to our check in with the owner. When we arrived we didnt know where to go and knocked on three different doors. Luckily we overheard people in the back yard and they were so kind and welcoming!
We drove to the teepee section which was so lovely but a bit too far from the porto-potty. There were several Teepees set up in a field which looked lovely.
There was a generator for each Teepee which included a lamp and a fan for the heat but only with 1 hour of gas.
This is VERY RUSTIC! If you dont mind rehoming the spiders that are under the sheets and blankets and love the outdoors….this is the place for you! I would probably suggest to the owners to have better instructions for check in and not to make beds prior to arrival. Simply hand over the linenes when folks check in, as they will feel more comfortable making there own bed knowing there are no “creatures” under the blankets! Such a great idea to have the teepees! I would love to have a group of friends here some day!!!
If you like it rustic this is the place for you but be warned , it is RUSTIC! You are in the middle of Maine with no electricity no running water, no facilities in your TeePee except a bed, The nearest toilet is about 100 yards depending on your campsite. The shower has to be driven to unless you want to walk a1/4 mile. Be prepared . We liked the place and would go back. Beautiful country!!
