Terrific location right in the middle of the historic district. The staff is welcoming. Very walkable. This hotel was renovated and our room was modern and beautiful. Our breakfast was the best one on our fourteen day trip. The breakfast room was beautiful and they also have a rooftop terrace if desired.

From the minute you walk into this hotel you realize you’re not just in a hotel - that this building was meant for something else. As it turns out it’s a refurbished centuries old nobles’ home and you can still this in the layout and materials used in the hotel. Perhaps I should’ve known while booking it, but I didn’t pick that up. Regardless, staying here was a treat and an experience!

Staff was not inviting-no welcome to Noble-just said we were to early to check in-we were able to leave our luggage which was nice and when we checked in it was in our room. The area was lovely

Beautiful boutique hotel with a good breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. Our biggest concern was that there was a small step in the hallway that wasn’t marked and nearly caused my husband to fall -twice! Also, the room keys were hung behind the desk which was easily accessible. The person staffing the front desk often needed to step away leaving the keys available for anyone who walked in. Aside from these 2 small issues everything was awesome.

Feels like living in a historic bldg (built in 1500) with frescos and plaster walls and high ceilings. Situated in center old town close to cathedral and Roman ruins. Plenty of shops and restos nearby. Breakfast was fabulous. Rooms were fairly spacious and bidets in bathroom. Have to pay for parking

The hotel is in a great location & the staff are exceptional - professional, friendly & helpful. The reception area is very small so checking in can take longer than it really should. Our “charming suite” was comfortable enough, but the kitchen that had an oven, convection stove top & full size fridge, selected because we like to self cater, was woefully lacking in the usual utensils or adequate cooking pans.

Medieval Magnificence

It was a beautiful hotel in a restored very old building. Our room had a fabulous view over the long flatlands looking east (Évora is on a hilltop). Couldn’t be more conveniently located near the cathedral and Roman Temple of Diana.
