Staff was very nice and courteous. Room was big and in good shape. Had a suite with a kitchen and some of the silverware in the drawer was dirty/obviously used. Bed was comfortable but too hot - seems they use plastic or polyester for the sheets, since I woke up too hot in the middle of the night and the sheets did not cool off. Breakfast was fine for free hotel breakfast. Nice pancakes but everything else was nothing special. Overall, this hotel is a solid hotel and definitely great value for the cost. It’s the best two star hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I would consider staying here again when I visit Louisville

When we arrived and went to our assigned room, there was such a strong smell of air freshener when we opened the door that it almost knocked us out. We asked for a new room and got one promptly – it had no smell. However, the pillow-top mattress was so soft that sleeping was uncomfortable, the bathroom sink did not drain properly, and the bath gel container in the shower was completely empty. We stayed in this hotel last January and had an excellent experience so we really looked forward to staying there again. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed this time around.
