The room smelled heavily like smoke but was mostly in the bathroom. The room seemed a bit old and the bed a little worn but it was comfortable. Just stayed the night and it was adequate. Check in was relatively smooth. Breakfast was okay. Really liked the waffles and potatoes.

There was a problem with the key cards the evening we checked in. The bathroom ceiling might have "pink mold", and there was someone else's milk and restaurant leftovers in the room minifridge. The breakfast was poor enough the first morning that I didn't even bother with anything but the substandard black coffee the second morning. These are the key negatives. But there were positives. The desk help worked hard to help people have easy access to their rooms, were polite and as helpful as possible. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've had at a hotel--and despite the fridge and bathroom ceiling, everything else was quite clean (if somewhat "aged"). All said, I unfortunately doubt I'll book there again.
