The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The property is dated but well maintained. My only issue was due to being a woman traveler, the doors to the room wings do not close all the way and were not locked, so anyone off the street can wander in.

Stayed here while visiting the Arcata area. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was decent with eggs, sausage, waffles, cold cereal, and croissants. The hotel was reasonably quiet during our stay. There aren’t really any amenities to speak of, but it worked fine as a simple place to sleep. The Mexican restaurant next door was good, and Toni’s down the street was also worth visiting.
