Despite all the other hotels around Motel 6 that costs more, we weren't dissappointed at all with Motel 6. For the lower price, Motel 6 at this location was great! Will use again when I visit my son in Arcata.

For the nightly rate this property was a fairly good deal. The room was clean, the shower had good pressure, and the beds were very comfy. There were a couple of cigarette burn holes in one of the bed covers though. Check in and check out were relatively easy. Would stay there again when in the area.

This was price gouging over 300 dollars to stay here on a Friday in May. Pismo beach #1 destination in California Motel 6 was only about 200 dollars. Why? Pool was closed. No free breakfast. If the other hotels are so expensive why.

Hotel rooms looked like recently renovated but they are tiny. 2 queen beds barely fit side by side. No coffee maker in the room and no common area with amenities like coffee or tea. Walls are very thin as we could hear the alarm on next room going on. Staff was Ok. Not rude but not very friendly or helpful. Just the bare minimal. For a Motel 6 with this conditions it was totally overpriced over $230/ night.
Bathroom was clean but exhaust fan stays on with light. Annoying.
Mini fridge & microwave but no coffee/ tea maker.
No safe for valuables.
