I love this place! My favorites are definitely the 24 hour pool, hot tub and fitness area, as well as the daily breakfast buffet. I think they gave me a bigger room that I was supposed to which was really nice. But every time I’ve stayed here the room has been really nice. The views out the window are of trees and nature and the Willamette river. One time I stayed here and I could hear some really beautiful music coming from the Cuthbert amphitheater. That was so cool! And the rates are really reasonable.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a key to a room that was already occupied. It was frightening to walk into someone else’s space. All the staff said was, “Did you have the dog with you?” and “I hope that wasn’t too awkward.” I will never be staying here again. On top of that, the room we were moved to was muggy and gross.

The staff was incredible! I was feeling quite sick and the manager, Sam, went out of her way to go purchase some OTC meds which saved the day. I was incredibly grateful and would happily stay there again.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was the usual fare--excellent waffles and maple syrup, fluffy biscuits, sausage gravy, sausage patties, eggs, cold cereal, yogurt, etc.--but prepared and served by a wonderful woman. We would stay there again.

Staff was very nice and the overall stay was fine. My only issue was the cleanliness under the beds. I was traveling with cats, and the first thing cats want to do is hide under the bed -- sure enough there were old dog treats, toothpicks, a water bottle, and M&Ms, amidst other fuzz and crumbs. I got a broom from the front desk, but that did very little. It just needed to be vacuumed. Other than that we had a good experience, and breakfast was a nice touch. I'm happy that breakfast went until 10am, as we're not early risers.

While we had a very fine overall experience at this particular location (once again), it did seem to us that there was some maintenance needs (ie side entrances were not working even with room keys) and the parking garage had some excess items in plain view. But the scenic location still appeals to us. We will continue coming back.
