Only down side is that i didnt stay longer! A very cute little cottage with everything you need. Good heating, a very warm and comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom and a lovely little deck outside your room and access to a private outdoor bath. This is very close to Roxburgh and Ettrick traven is just up the road. I would love to come back and stay here again. There is no staff on site and i had to go to the cafe next door to ask about how to access my room. The ladies in the cafe said that happens often and they were very helpful. Not sure if this is a Hotels.com issue or a host issue. Was not a big problem and sorted quickly but good to know.

Arrived late in the day and was welcomed by the owner and taken to our room, it was super spotlessly clean and smelt really nice, very comfortable bed and awesome shower perfect room for 2 Next morning we were greeted with a friendly smile and a good morning then told breakfast was included in our room rate, we were given a small but super tasty menu and cooked a very fresh and super tasty breakfast by the other owner and delivered with a friendly smile and enjoy and it filled the spot, awesome meal All in all what a fabulous place to stay, cosy, tidy and fresh tasty food so do your self a favour and travel the extra 10 mins south of Roxbrough and stay here🤓
