I enjoy staying at the Trailborn hotels in Estes Park but was sadly disappointed when I noticed the room didn't have a normal AC unit. As someone who relies on a fan as white noise to muffle the neighboring rooms, highway traffic, etc., I was wishing I packed my ear plugs. Other than that a great stay, staff is always really helpful and friendly and the property is well maintained and clean.

The lodge was very nice. The dinning and bar area was a plus, along with the outdoor area. Staff was all very nice and helpful. Only downside was the bathroom.

Our stay was very nice. It was a very nicely renovated older lodge. The food and drinks were above standard. The linens and cleanliness were also top notch.

Staff were nice location spot on and loved the heated pool although some sun umbrellas would have been appreciated. The hotel itself is dated and a bit shabby reminiscent of a cheap roadside motel. Expensive for what it is but I guess you are paying for the location!

The location to downtown, shuttles to Rocky Mountain National Park, Stanley Hotel. Didn’t use car for the five days that we were there. General area with restaurant and bar was nice.

Great property and close to everything you need. Used the bikes to go around Estes Lake by crossing the road. Wildlife was walking on the grounds too, deer come within ten feet while on the hammocks if you’re lucky! No complaints.

We booked a last minute weekend for the Fourth of July. Prices were a little steep but expected last minute. Great location but even better staff here! Everyone was so friendly, thoughtful and accommodating. Truly top notch team. Location is in walking distance of the lake, shops and restaurants on the creek and The Stanley. A/c in the room was good, beds comfy, we hung out in the lounge/lobby and at the fire pit. Our teens loved the hammocks and s’mores. We would definitely stay again.

Room amenities were lacking. For the age of the building and the price, it was decent. We did have one amenity, and that was s’mores in the evening, and there were elk around with their babies. That was the best part of it. Parking was good. I would give it a 3.5 stars.

We stayed 4 nights for a family vacation and it was lovely! It is the perfect location if you're visiting Estes Park or Rocky Mountain National Park! We were able to walk downtown Estes Park and not have to worry about parking - which was great! The hotel is older, but they've done a great job of updating! The staff was very helpful -- I had originally booked online and our travel plans changed and the staff was wonderful about helping me change our booking (even though I had booked it through Expedia). Once we got there, the staff was so friendly and helpful with every question we had! Smores at night over the fire were wonderful and the outdoor seating was perfect! I said multiple times throughout our stay "I've never been to a hotel with such friendly and helpful staff!"

I just wish they would have had a microwave in the room so we could heat up our food. It was crazy hot in the daytime so I would have liked for them to have an ice machine and for the pool to be opened. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and beds were comfortable.

We were disappointed that there was no breakfast available, no food service available, and no bar service available the whole time we were there. The fire ring was broken in back so only one worked in front. The complimentary smores were very nice. Really cute lobby and nice place to relax. Nice location.
