So quaint and our lodge was the perfect location on the stream. The bakery next door was a plus. Wish I’d known there was no oven in advance need better info on what is included- I brought stuff they provided which was nice!

LOVED the Swiftcurrent Lodge ❤️

Swiftcurrent lodge was the best! Can’t wait to go back. The setting was exactly what I had hoped. Quiet property. I really appreciated sitting and relaxing near the water and the views of the Rocky Mountain National Park through the trees were gorgeous. Beds were comfortable. Good quality dishes, and supplies available. Seemed to have fresh paint and a recent remodel. It was a Best Friend trip. We came without a vehicle and the summer free shuttle picked us up right out front. Was no problem for us not to have a car. Estes park FREE summer shuttle system perfectly clean and on time. The spice rack coffee and French pastries next-door was unexpected and amazing. Definitely go to Bird and Jim’s for dinner and Stanley hotel for cocktails (if that’s your thing) And if you’re looking for some tattoo artistry, we loved RedRum.

Beautiful area with lots of close by activities to do, and super close to Rocky Mountain National Park. We especially loved having access to the hot tub after our long hikes!

What a lovely setting.

What a wonderful hideaway as a base for 2 Brits abroad to explore the Rocky Mountain National Park! We have loved every aspect, from the cosy cabin, the humming birds on the back porch, being lulled to sleep by the beautiful river to the delicious gluten free muffins from the bakery, made specially! Our stay was wonderful! The room was spacious with all the comforts of home! It was very relaxing listening to the river and watching the hummingbirds! Having a pastry/spice shop next door was an added bonus! The pastries were delicious!

The Swiftcurrent Lodge exceeded my expectations. It's a perfect place to stay for a Rocky Mountain hiking trip. The river running in the back, the perfect size cottages, bbq and outdoor dining set-up, the location so close to the park entrance. All of it. Amazing. Loved it.

Less than perfect Stay

We have stayed 3 times. The first and Third trips were difficult as they were upstairs units with 60 degree stair incline 16 stairs. The second trip was a cabin experience which was wonderful. My recent knee surgery made us check out of upstairs room. Just to painful. We stayed 7 nights of the 8 night stay.and forfeited Last day . The facility needs private handicapped parking. We also did not have River access or barbecue pit access. The balcony chairs were beach level chairs. Expensive stay with no amenities.
