Loved the Ponderosa! So cozy & relaxing. The river view & decks with the hammock swings were amazing. Elk right outside our room on the river . We will definitely be back for our next stay.

We had a really nice stay at Ponderosa Lodge. The room was dated but very clean and cozy. Communication was very good through Expedia. The view and river from the room was absolutely beautiful. I would stay there again definitely!

Lovely rustic property tucked away in the woods. Close to town and to RMNP which was very nice. Perfect place for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. Property was quiet. Check in and out was super easy. Room had everything I needed, even a fan, which was fabulous. Will definitely be staying here again and soon I hope!

We enjoyed are stay at the lodge. We got in a little late (9:00 pm) so there was nobody at the office. There were instructions in the mailbox to the left of the office door. The room itself was very average but it's right on the Fall River and of couse it's in Estes so based on those two things, it was a very enjoyable stay.

The location was fantastic and the room was pretty spacious. Loved the back deck with a table and chairs to relax by the river. The one downside, and reason I would not stay here again, was how uncomfortable the bed was. The pillows were even worse, super hard and flat. It really made for poor sleep. If you enjoy an extra firm mattress and travel with your own pillows, you might consider staying here.

The room was excellent and cozy! We had an amazing stay, but we could hear loud footsteps very frequently in the night time into the morning from the room above us. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again, just in the upper level rooms.
