We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located near Rocky Mountain National Park. The park itself is breathtaking, and the hotel is in a prime location, with everything we needed within walking distance.

Love the Appenzell always stay here when we come to Estes Park. Beds are so amazingly comfortable and pillows are excellent. Rooms very clean and staff is very helpful and friendly! Highly recommend.

The Appenzel is our go-to in Estes Park. Yes, it is dated but ALWAYS clean and well maintained. Staff is always friendly, helpful, and competent. Highly recommend staying here.

Our room was very clean but the AC had trouble keeping the room cool with the sun coming in the big windows at the top with no covering. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Adorable place, clean, and close to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. As soon as we drove up, 3 little deer were on property which was amazing. Check in was easy, customer service was great, breakfast was nice, and overall I’d stay here again! The inside wasn’t anything fancy, felt like a cabin but it was perfect for a one night stay for our family of 5. The outside reminded us of Switzerland with the chalets and flowers which was very pretty!

We had such a great stay! We got the two bedroom suite with two king beds and it was awesome. The view was beautiful, the interior was really nice, and the huge jetted tub was definitely a highlight. The pool was great too, and everyone on the staff was so welcoming and friendly. The free breakfast the next morning was a perfect way to end our trip. We had so much fun and definitely wished we had stayed more than one night. Super family friendly, and we will definitely be back!
