Nestled on the heights of the village of Estérençuby, 4.5 km from the village, the Sabaia cottage awaits you for a nature vacation. This renovated barn is located on a working farm. The owners do not live on site and will be delighted to welcome you to their farm, 45 minutes from the cottage. Sabaia has a garage on the ground floor of the house, including a bathroom (additional fridge-freezer). The upper floor is accessible on one level and consists of: - a large living room with an open kitchen (refrigerator, induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher), dining area, and lounge area - 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed - 2 bedrooms with a double bed each - 1 bedroom with two single beds - a bathroom with a shower and corner bathtub - a toilet - a pantry (washing machine, dryer) The beds are made ready for your arrival, and aerothermal heating is included. Wi-Fi is available. A covered terrace with garden furniture, a barbecue, and a hammock allows you to enjoy your meals outdoors, overlooking the mountains. A covered trampoline is available. Parking is available in the cottage's courtyard. The cottage is located in the heart of the Basque mountains, close to hiking trails. You can explore the largest beech forest in Europe, the Iraty Forest. The region is also full of megalithic sites with cromlechs and dolmens, such as Okabe, Urkulu, and more. Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port is an essential stop on the Way of St. James, rich in heritage and charm. The Baigorri and Aldudes Valleys also offer superb landscapes and quality cuisine (Banka trout, Kintoa pork, cheese, and more).
