Better still, its right at the heart of the Costa del Sol making it really easy to explore to Tarifa, Gibraltar, Ronda, Marbella, and Malaga. Cancelada is a tranquil village with several playgrounds and parks ideal for families and children and its proximity to the beaches and a full range of amenities such as supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, restaurants and coffee shops make the village an ideal place to stay all year round. The beach is a 20 minute walk away, or 5 minutes by car. The various beaches are quite unique as they are sandy, not stones and are generally unspoilt and not crowded. There is something for everyone, from the likes of Boho Club and Senora Beach , luxury restaurants at the Anantara Hotel to more traditional Spanish restaurants and chiringuitos. If lying on the beach isnt for you, there is also a beautiful pedestrian promenade, with exotic plants and wild life which is ideal for walking and cycling. Nearby there is also a ,safari park, water sports facilities, sailing, fishing and horse riding clubs. Puerto Banus and Marbella are just 10/15minutes away respectively providing excellent restaurants, shopping and nightlife! Furthermore this delightful town is situated near some of the best golf courses on the Costa del Sol with Los Flamingos Golf Resort at walking distance and a further six top-class golf courses within a 5-10 minute drive.
