From my arrival at reception, through to spending the night and leaving early the next morning I enjoyed my stay thoroughly; Zach at reception was especially welcoming, thoughtful and made my initial impression of my very first stay at a Radisson Blue to be a very good one; my room was spacious, the bed supremely comfortable; I would stay again with no hesitation and look forward to doing so….

Checked in online before arrival. That was great. On arrival was given keys to room. Hallways were rather untidy and looked like they needed a good hoovering. When we opened the door to our room the bed had not been made from the previous guests. This is absolutely unacceptable in my eyes. We were upgraded to a suite and although it was more spacious, the stickers on the new bed sheets had not been removed. Not sure that this is the standard that Raddison aspire to. Certainly not the service that I expect as a paying customer. I would like someone from Raddison to personally contact me if it really matters to them.

Arrived late (2300)as flight was delayed - on check in at the hotel we were informed that we had been upgraded to a Superior Room. On entering the room we saw the Mini Bar Menu - but the Mini Bar was empty - I reported this to reception and they said it’ll be alright. If the Mini bar isn’t being used why have a menu?? The shower head was held in place by toilet paper - the Toilet seat was very loose. But to cap it all we were woken at 0830 by a housekeeper wanting to clean the room.

I didn’t try the breakfast because I had to check out very early, but I did order a margherita pizza at 10pm and it was terrible — awful quality and extremely overpriced. £23 for that pizza was honestly unacceptable. The room itself was good and comfortable, but the shower was a disaster. It sprayed water everywhere, clearly leaking due to a defect, and the temperature would suddenly get very hot. For a 4-star hotel, having a decent shower and edible food should be the minimum. The only truly positive aspect is the location, which is excellent. Another disappointing point: I tried to contact the hotel to request early check-in and never received a reply. I couldn’t check in early on arrival either — which I understand can happen — but it was frustrating to see that early check-in was available if I paid extra. Not very fair, especially considering I also had to leave very early the next morning. Overall, the location is great, but the experience fell far below what you would expect from a 4-star hotel.

Overall a good stay. Only issue was that a cup in the room was covered in lipstick and was unwashed as was a spoon. Maybe small issue to some but gave me some concern about potential cleanliness of the room

I was assigned a room 1130. Once inside room looked until I needed to go to toilet and I saw the toilet seat was dirty. Someone had gone before me in the toilet probably a men as the seat was disgusting. I called the reception and they came after sometime and gave me another room. 3052 which was better but the toilet was for disable people, just a strange room exchange. Made me feel unconfortable.
