Good stay in Essex on the way from Glacier National park at a quiet community of 40 people. Convenient stay on the way back from the East entrance of Glacier. Small rooms but clean and well maintained. The property wifi is very spotty and there's no cellphone signal there. The owners also serve dinner at their restaurant next door, their Chinese food is quite good.

Roadside motel - "vintage". Cabins were a signifcant price uptick. some road noise until dark and active traintracks maybe 50 yards from the room. Very soft mattresses and antique looking quilts on the beds - not sure when they were last cleaned. Not much nearby and the dining room only opened at 5pm with very limited menu. Interestingly, we looked out out window after hearing a "pop" and saw a guy walking around with a 22 rifle! Would not recommend

The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. This is a small motel right along the side of the road. We selected because of location near Glacier NP and that worked out well. However, no wifi in the room, had to go into parking lot or restaurant and no phone service Behind the motel are train tracks so between the road noise in front (70 mph speed limit & plenty of trucks) and train noise at night, it was not a quiet location. The HVAC system was wonky. Heat set off the fire alarm so we ended up turning it off. We paid for location and got it but overall value was OK at best.

Cabin near Glacier national park

Great cabin 20 mins away from Glacier national park. We stayed the cabin in the RV perfect for 2-3 day stay. Owner was really friendly.

A very nice and remote area. We stayed in the caboose and it was great. You are near the historic rail way so trains do run near but that did not bother us. The food at the tavern was very good and the portions were large.

Great stay overall! The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything was well-maintained. The only small downside was that the shower water could have been a bit hotter. Other than that, everything was perfect and I’d happily stay here again

The room was reasonably clean. They had misplaced my reservation and payment and wanted my 1200 dollar payment when I arrived. I had to call my credit card company and confirm that I had paid. He went to his office and found my payment rather quickly. The restaurant didn't open until 5pm, when the ads for the place led me to believe it was open all day and evening. There are train tracks behind the cabins and the trains run past frequently, day and night. There was construction going on on the road at the front of the property. The road was being torn up for miles , to resurface. The construction equipment and crew worked most of the night every night. I was very disappointed and displeased.
