Rented this place as a home base for some weekend biking at Otis Mountain. This is a comfortable farmhouse in a nice, surprisingly quiet location. Could use some additional cleanup and repairs but nothing major (e.g. the porch storm door should have a pneumatic closer to prevent the door from whipping open when there’s wind, there was some type of broken wood item…maybe an old railing?…right at the storm door entrance, large boxes of trash bags after entering the porch area, a refrigerator that doesn’t smell great, and a bathroom door with no lock). If we go back to Otis next year, I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook this place.
