Upon arrival I took a shower and noticed the shower drain was not properly draining. It was already 10pm and didn’t know if anything could be done.
Next day, I showered again at midnight and now the drain accumulated ankle high water. After showering, there was a sewage smell coming from the sink drain.
The following day, we asked the front desk if there was something that could be done. They said they would have the engineer take a look. Within the hour an engineer arrived to the room and found the drain was clogged with hair.
It was absolutely disgusting that the bathroom was not properly cleaned before we arrived to the property. We had a busy weekend and arriving to a room that did not have a clean bathroom hindered the experience.
Aside from the dirty bathroom, we were given $25 resort credit as part of the package we bought, which we could use at the convenience store, Pizza Hut, or grill. When we tried to use it at the convenience store they said we had to get a physical voucher from the front desk. The front desk said we could charge it to the room and get discounted. Lo and behold, I was charged without the $25 credit.
Concierge was friendly. But they were trying to get us to buy a time share.
Parking is Limited on the weekends. We had to park down the hill from our hotel room because people would drive up to the pool near our room. On a similar note, you can’t get around the resort without driving.
