      Relaxing.........just what i needed.

We love the cabin, very cozy. The creek was awesome. We spend most of our time on the deck, listening to the creek. The manager was very helpful and friendly and i would highly recommend a stay in this beautiful setting.

        Great time

Thanks for allowing us to stay in your peaceful and relaxing cabin! Our family had a great time and enjoyed playing in the creek, skipping rocks, fishing, tubing, the hot tub, swings and the campfire. Mercier orchard was fun too as well as some great little restaurants and shops just a few minutes away. We hope to return!

          Beautiful home, even better view!

We came for fall break and really enjoyed our stay. The river was perfect for the kids to fish and tube. They especially loved roasting marshmallows by the fire. Planning to come back as soon as possible ❣️

            Absolutely perfect river getaway!!!

My wife and I brought my parents here for a week vacation on the river. My mom always talks about listening to the sounds of a river, so we thought this looked like the perfect place after searching long and hard. Well, it absolutely was!!! If you’re wanting a river experience, fishing, wading, walking, tubing, kayaking, sitting, listening, or whatever it is you want to do in the river, this place has it!!! The sounds are mesmerizing! It’s all just a step away from the amazing decks and fire pit! My wife and I caught 15 brown trout, even though it was warmer and harder to catch them. The hammock location is so relaxing! The 7 acres next to it ensures you have privacy. There is a rental next door, but you don’t even notice. The owners of it are awesome as well. Wes was amazing to work with and this is a place we will definitely be back to!! The beds are super comfy too!! I could definitely live here!!! The cabin isn’t huge inside, but perfect for two couples (even with a few kids) or a family. The outside is where this place shines!!!! Thank you so much Wes for everything!!!! I’m jealous!

              Our Happy Place

We have stayed at River Bend Cabin several times and have visited this stretch of Fightingtown Creek every year for the past decade!!! When we book a cabin, we always check first to see if RiverBend is available and try to adjust our trip and visit to stay in this restful, private cabin. This visit was just as memorable as all of our other visits. I love to fly fish and was successful catching and releasing numerous fingerling rainbow trout using a Copper John nymph in the rapids near the cabin. I also hooked a huge rainbow just up from the cabin near the fish feeder using a coffee and black rubber legs. But he broke my 5X tippet just as I was netting him. That's no fish tale! The cabin was comfortable and cozy. And, we enjoyed sitting in the swing on a rainy evening enjoying a bottle of wine listening to the river and the rain. We will definitely be back!!!
