Excellent surprise!

Perfect location. Very friendly front desk. Breakfast was actually much more and better than we ever expected for a small place. Fresh foods. Rooms were clean and nice size. Quality people staying at the motel, never feeling unsafe. Definitely coming back.

Best hot breakfast included with a motel stay. The breakfast area was inviting. We wouldn't even consider going to breakfast elsewhere. Yummy! Motel staff was pleasant and on top of everything.

We had a lovely stay at this motel. It is in a great location between Ephraim and sister Bay. We were able to walk to a super cute coffee shop and right across the street from an adorable Putt-Putt. The pool was super clean.

Very quaint, clean motel close to recreational areas and good restaurants. Breakfast was good. The sausages were better quality than most hotel chains and they had cherries available for the waffles. Walls are pretty thin, so we could hear every door slam. I’m sure the neighbors could hear us making noises, too. Only gripe - and it’s a minor one - the front desk clerk told us to take off our Do Not Disturb sign if we wanted our room cleaned. We did but didn’t get the service. Not a big deal. We were there only two nights. Overall, a great experience. Would recommend.

Sink did not drain well becuase there was a lot of hair caught in the drain, which was a little off-putting. Water in pool was tolerable and a good temperature. But I am confident in saying it was not at the advertised 85 degrees, it was at least a few degrees colder.

Adored this place and would stay again. It exceeded my expectations. Clean room, easy check in and out. Appreciate the continental breakfast. Great flowers and landscaping giving a homey feel. I do want to mention that the shower head is low so that could be challenging for tall people ( mentioning just to set expectations/awareness). That said, water pressure and hot water were great.

Everything was exactly as advertised. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I loved that there was a complimentary breakfast every morning in the main office with actual good breakfast food, not just muffins in a plastic bag like other hotel breakfasts. We were pretty much exploring all of Door County for the weekend, and the Ephraim Motel was a great central location. Would definitely stay again!
