Enjoy a stay on the farm by Lake Wilhelm and Goddard State Park in Sandy Lake PA

Country living at its best! Come stay on this working farm near Lake Wilhelm! Kevin and Marie are excited to return as hosts of the family farmhouse after earning 119 consecutive 5-star reviews from our previous listing. They welcome you and your family and friends to make memories in this well appointed home. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, crockpot, toaster, gas stove, coffee station , dishes, silverware- just message us if you have a need for a special item and we’ll let you know if it’s here! The living room is open to the kitchen and features a ROKU tv. WiFi is also provided. There are board games and puzzles available . Two bedrooms and one bath are on the main level with the remaining bedrooms and addition bath on the second floor. There are additional blankets in each bedroom
Ample parking, a gas grill, large yard, outdoor tables, are available for your use. An area below the house features a fire pit, seating, outdoor games, and an old spring house foundation with swing to enjoy the surroundings. Please use caution outdoors. As this is a working farm, there may be uneven terrain in areas. Caution should also be practiced in the area near the spring. Guests are not permitted in any of the farm buildings or on equipment without the hosts. We are at the farm daily to care for the cattle but will stay away from the house to provide you with privacy. But feel free to chat with us. We also plant, grow and harvest corn, soybeans, and hay. Our farm is located on a dirt road, ( 1/4 mile of travel on the dirt road). Our driveway is through a tunnel of spruce trees. The driveway splits with the right side going to the farmhouse ( use the back door) All vehicles that go to the left are farm related. You may hear an occasional tractor or farm equipment, hear a cow “moo” or smell farm smells.
Lake Wilhelm is accessible 1/4 mile away at boat launch 4. There is no swimming in this lake, but boating is permitted. A 13 mile loop around the lake is available for hiking and biking. Goddard State Park’s main recreation area is 2 miles from the farmhouse. The park also provides programming from April- October. Our area has a very strong wildlife population. As we in located in the country, please be aware that shops and stores are limited. There are several Dollar Generals, Amish deli, seasonal ice cream shops, and a restaurant nearby. Larger areas such as Grove City, Meadville, Franklin, and Greenville are easy drives that are all 30 minutes or less. Please use caution while driving in the area as a large Amish population resides nearby.
