A short walk (500 yards) up a steep hill from the main strip in English Harbour provides amazing views of Nelson’s dockyard near enough to walk to all the restaurants and far enough away from the noise of the nightclubs so the only sound at night are the tree frogs chirping. Annie and Roger are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. 10/10 for staff. Simple but delicious breakfast served on the large terrace overlooking the sea completes the peaceful charm of this colonial style home. The vibe is simple, friendly and homely rather than high end polished veneer and we loved it’s slightly quirky rustic charm.

Annie was truly the soul of the place. She greeted us cheerfully every time we met and made sure we were well looked after. The view from the main terrace, pool area, and our cottage was spectacular – directly facing the English Harbour. The staff was exceptional, the view was spectacular. The self serve bar was a nice touch. But our cottage seemed to be unfinished after a recent renovation: no towel bars or soap dishes in the bathroom, no mirror over the sink, a bathroom door that would not close.
