My Queen bed room was small. I was barely able to open my suitcase. I should have selected a better and larger room. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Fruit, danish, toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, pound cake, juices, coffee tea milk, Cereals. No mini fridge in my small room. There isn't enough space to put it. Hot water kettle, no tea bags, no instant coffee packets. Check in and out was easy. One block away is their parking lot. With a gate and fence around it. Open gate with a remote control. Given to you at check in.

Disturbed night

Friendly staff and comfortable bed, but hotel needs maintenance. Our room overlooked the filling station in the forecourt and we were disturbed by noise through the night. Connecting door to adjacent room also meant we could clearly hear our neighbours when they got up at 4am. Asked to change room but apparently all rooms look out onto the filling station, so did not stay for second night.

Old rooms, dated amenities.

We stayed in a very strange cheetah themed room. The floors had seen some flooding and were damaged, there were cockroaches and a spider was crawling on my pillow. Clearly this room and hotel weren't in good condition. On top of that, the breakfast was very meagre. Service was good because they did try to find us an alternative room but to no avail unfortunately because all the rooms had problems. This hotel is really dated and needs a full refresh. I would never stay here.

Once fancy hotel needs maintenance

Staff and breakfast were excellent but the condition of the room left much to be desired. This place needs some maintenance. Lots of repair needed to floors, furniture, and stained walls within the room. Room was spacious and wifi was fast. The pool could also use some maintenance/cleaning.

The first room I was given had a horrible stench in the bathroom. There were a number of other issues with my stay here as well. Some staff very helpful, others not at all. The lobby is very glitzy.

Fantastic Stay.

Wonderful stay. Each member of staff made me feel very welcome. I was able to check in early and shown to my room which was spacious and very clean. Special thanks to the lady at reception who spoke English (I am sorry I didn't get your name). Breakfast was delicious, so many options including egg and bacon. There was a pool on the 8th floor and restaurant and bar. The cocktails were lovely and caprices very cheap. Excellent location, supermarket 5 minutes away as well as the bank and money exchange. Also near the bus terminal. Many thanks for the great stay and introduction to Paraguay. If I ever return I will stay here again and tell others to. Muchas Gracias.

Luxsur...not luxury, but better than most

Located a short walk from the intercity bus terminal. The hotel is multi-story with restaurant, bar and swimming pool on the top floor...which has a panoramic view over Encarnacion and across the River to Posadas. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained...with a modern ensuite bathroom, with abundant hot water. Not many options for Restaurants, within walking distance. The staff were very helpful. We found other hotels, further out of town, which were better value.
