My stay at The Lamb was most successful. One is aware of the history of the hotel, and the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. The room was clean and very comfortable. And the proximity of the cathedral was wonderful

Great position but not the most attractive place, hot rooms but the fan supplied was great, although the windows barely open, the corridor during the day was cooler and fluid dynamics worked well by opening and closing the door 8 times greatly cooled the room A real bonus was the bed was extremely comfortable. So value for money, basic but comfortable

We had a room in what was called "The Stables "it was a good size with a nice modern bathroom,there was a kettle and tea,coffee,milk etc .Room was very clean .There was also a fan to use due to the very hot weather.It is situated very well ,not far to walk to shops , cathedral, plenty of bars ,coffee shops etc Very quick check in ,plenty of staff all that were very helpful and friendly. Ate in the restaurant in the evening ,food was fine and had breakfast the next morning which was good

Location was excellent, very close to the Cathedral which is beautiful and just a short walk to the riverside for a beautiful walk along the river. All the staff were extremely friendly. The Manager was so helpful and we couldn't fault the other staff who were welcoming and friendly. We had an evening meal which was delicious and the breakfast was lovely with so much choice. The room was basic but had everything you needed. It was clean and comfortable.
