Location was excellent, very close to the Cathedral which is beautiful and just a short walk to the riverside for a beautiful walk along the river. All the staff were extremely friendly. The Manager was so helpful and we couldn't fault the other staff who were welcoming and friendly. We had an evening meal which was delicious and the breakfast was lovely with so much choice. The room was basic but had everything you needed. It was clean and comfortable.

Staff were very friendly and lovely! And the hotel is in an excellent location, with a lovely British pub bar downstairs. The rooms themselves have seen better days, which could be more to do with the age of the building. The biggest problem was the lack of any temperature control during the hot weather. The room was diabolically hot - I got no sleep
