The view from the balcony is absolutely spectacular. Unfortunately, this is about the only positive thing about the property. The “finished basement” does not act as a 4th bedroom. It has a sleeper sofa and doubles as a game room. There is nowhere to put away clothes, either. The master bedroom is upstairs and has no door, AKA no privacy. There is no dresser in the master, either. As stated on a previous review, the carpets are very dirty and in need of replacing. The railing to the upstairs is loose and presents a major safety hazard if someone really needs to use it. The slider leading out to the patio is very hard to open and feels like it might break at any moment. The kitchen is tiny and has no pantry, so any non-refrigerated food we bought had to be put on chairs due to the limited counter space. The furniture is all very old and uncomfortable. The couch absolutely needs replacing; the cushions don’t even fit on it properly anymore. A heat lamp and grill were provided, so we were very much looking forward to grilling steaks on NYE and dining outside. Imagine our surprise when we went to use the grill and there was no propane. We brought over 200 worth of steaks back home and had to eat Mac ‘n cheese for our NYE dinner because restaurants were either already booked full or closed. This was our last straw and we attempted to contact the host through VRBO directly, but she was unresponsive. Worst VRBO experience I’ve ever had.
