**DO NOT BOOK: Severe maintenance and hostile host**I strongly advise against booking. Our family vacation was incredibly stressful due to severe property neglect and alarming host behavior. I have photo documentation of everything below.* **Filthy Upon Arrival:** We arrived to dirty laundry, unmade beds, and a terrible odor. The host unresponsive and screened calls; I had to track down her husband to get cleaners hours later, who than confirmed a turnover was never scheduled.* **Broken Fridge & Ruined Food:** The refrigerator broke on night one, leaking everywhere and ruining four hundred dollars in groceries. We had to live out of a basement mini-fridge. Old water damage underneath fridge proves this is an ongoing issue.* **Threats of Eviction:** When I requested a partial refund for the ruined food and dirty arrival, the host became hostile and told us to vacate immediately! After hours on the phone, VRBO Support had to intervene and inform her she had no authority to kick us out. She then refused to communicate further.* **Safety Hazards:** The property is heavily neglected. Sliding doors require extreme force to open (fire hazard), deck boards are popping up (tripping hazard), the hot tub was covered in mold, we found dead roaches, and the basement smells of mildew. Exposed electrical wires on porch. Slip hazards on every wooden walkway. Huge for sale sign infront of property. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere. This was an absolute nightmare.
