The first room I was given hadn’t been cleaned—there were dirty bed linens, Burger King bags and cups scattered around, and towels left on the floor. Thankfully, the front desk staff was very helpful and moved me to a clean room. Booking through Expedia was also frustrating. I’m used to making online reservations, but the site made it unusually difficult to select the correct check-in and check-out dates. I intended to book a two-night stay, but it only reserved the first night. When I noticed the error, I called the front desk, and they advised me to call back the next morning—the day my stay was set to begin. I couldn’t reach anyone then, but when I arrived the staff had already arranged for the second night. The new room was on the second floor, but the view overlooked the dumpsters, and there was loose trash along the back property line. While the staff was excellent throughout, the overall experience left a lot to be desired.

My stay was great accept for one of the front desk people seemed to be neurotic and would raise her voice and get hostile every time she spoke to me or when I asked a simple question. I didn’t get her name unfortunately.

Im 65 and I slipped in the shower, fell over the edge of the tub, and landed as my hip hit the edge of the toilet. Injured myself pretty bad. It would be best if the tub had anti slip floor.

First room I was given keys to somebody else was already in. I opened the door and he was just standing there. Bit of an awkward thing but I apologized and went back to the front desk. She was sorry but how does that even happen??? The room was highway motel-level of clean. There was a spider on the heater but other than that no bugs. Found some hairs in the shower. Breakfast was awful and the coffee very burnt.

The check in process was terrible. The front desk attendant was clearly not well trained and struggled to check us in. Once he was able to locate our reservation he stated that the card reader was not working for the hold on the room. He ended up waiting for a call from the manager to correct this. Check in took 45 minutes. I am still waiting for the release of $250+ on my account that I was charged for the room, which I had paid for through Expedia, as well as additional holds for each time he attempted to put a hold on my card. Building was poorly maintained. Only 1 key card worked but you would have to unlock the door several times before it would open. Other guests were having the same problem. Not sure why we had to register our vehicle when there was clearly individuals sleeping in their cars in the parking lot.

This is a older property and could use a little TLC. It was clean and comfortable. Staff needs to focus on the small things i.e. there was no soap for the shower or sink. Only 1 washcloth, trash can in breakfast room overflowing.
