Excellent value

Excellent hotel..owner was amazing and the staff there were excellent. Everyday we got excellent Sri Lankan breakfast and my tea was made as per my liking. The hotel is little further away from the main road but its not far. Highly recommend.

No internet. No electricity. No water.

I was about to stay in Ella for 2 nights but this hotel has unfortunately made me to change my mind and I left earlier. There were long periods without electricity (where I saw neighboring buildings has it). Which also meant no internet. There were also no water in the shower. I told that to the two older gentlemen who work in the reception and they did something so that the water started to flow (cold), but without the possibility to turn in off now. A complete disaster. Not a single thought about environment. It says the hotel is close to Nine Arch bridge (1,5km) which is not true. It’s about 5km to walk to that bridge from there. It’s far away from all the restaurants in Ella as well. Location, service and amenities are all dragging this place down.
