A very nice owner who made an amazing breakfast. The room was nice and clean and had a stunning view. Very close to Ella city center and various restaurants as well as Nine Arches Bridge. I would really recommend this place!

Excellent view from the room. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend for anyone who doesn't mind a 15 minute walk from the city centre to get a room with unobstructed views. Breakfast is also 10/10, served at the rooftop patio.

Staff was wonderful. Hotel was in a residential area so very quiet. There weren't many restaurant options within walking distance but we did find one we liked. The staff was very nice, breakfast was abundant, and the view was phenom! This is close to everything. We hiked the Pekoe Trail, did Little Adams Peak, we wanted to hike Ella Ridge but it had rained all night and the trail was slippery. We'd stay here again!

You come here for the views which are stunning. Hospitality was great. Rooms were basic but comfortable, spacious. Electricity a bit flaky at times. Not suitable for those with mobility issues otherwise a beautiful setting.

Best view in the whole city. we stayed in room no. 8 and i am sure we had the best room. the host is very welcoming and made the best breakfast. the walk to the city was easy and quick. there is no parking and the water pressure is low, but we can definitely recommend staying here. don't hesitate, the place gets 10/10❤️

Overall I would recommend a stay at Ella Ridge View but with a few caveats. It is a tucked away down a narrow road and a bit rough around the edges. We stayed in a room in the older building — and it wasn’t super clean. If you’re willing to look past that you will be rewarded with the best breakfast and best views. There is a family that lives on the ground floor and the staff are all very accommodating.

I give this 5 stars based on the view alone, but the breakfast was incredible brought to out door every morning and bed and towels were clean and comfy. I highly recommend this property you will not be disappoint, except the view does make you want to do nothing but sit and enjoy it😊

I’m glad I stay in Ella Ridge View

It's fascinating to wake up in a room with the great mountains view and tasty Sri Lank breakfast. The owner also offers tuk-tuk ride in Ella. They have one-day package and one ride. The location is a bit far fr city center, it’s better because of quiet. Each tuk-tuk ride between hotel to city center is LRK 500.

Lacintha the owner was very friendly, he followed up on our check in, he was very helpful and nice. He provided breakfast on time the next morning. The location is very close from the center and restaurant. It’s very close also from little Adam’s peak hike. Recommend this place to stay and relax with an amazing view

Beautiful view from the balcony. Good large room. Great Sri Lankan breakfast but way too much for us to eat everything. A little hard to find as we arrived at night but the location is great once it's daylight. Owner very friendly & helpful.

Booked for the view and tranquillity, did not disappointment. Family run guest house which I always prefer to support. The climate was perfect, zero humidity, a welcome relief from Colombo. An easy picturesque walk into Ella town, as well as Little Adams Peak. Staff very nice and friendly. Delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. Best yet coconut roti. Excellent value for money. Stunning Mountain Oasis

Loved my stay here! The mountain view from the rooms is spectacular. It was a little hard to find at first, since it's down a narrow mountain road, but once you find it, it's easy to walk into town and get around. I walked to the nine arch bridge in like 25 minutes from the hotel. The staff was also extremely nice and helpful. I needed a bandaid at one point and they got me a couple and helped me out. Breakfast was varied and delicious. :) Hope I can come back someday!

The view of the room wasn’t as clear as shown in the pictures, as a large tree was blocking most of it. The room also had a damp smell. We booked for three people, but there was no mosquito net on one of the beds and only two teacups were provided. The soap dispenser was empty, there was no hot water throughout, no air conditioner and the electric circuit tripped numerous time during our one night stay. That said, the host was very polite and welcoming, and his dog was definitely the star of the show.
