Hidden away in the trees, it gives you a quiet, private setting to sit outside by the fire, throw those steaks on the grill, or play yard games, or enjoy relaxing in the spacious Jacuzzi hot tub! Inside... brew a pot or french press of coffee and relax in the spacious living room, play games, and just enjoy the family together & get away from the TV… (a projector and wifi are supplied) Everything is sparkling clean and beds are comfy. There's a few books, games, & toys , foosball table & corn toss game for enjoying your time together. Its only 7.8 miles from the Massanutten ski resort! 5 miles from Merck & Co. So come relax and enjoy your quiet woodland setting away from the hustle an bustle, but just minutes away from the resort, skyline drive and hiking, the caverns, & university.

This is one of the best vacation rentals we have stayed in. The owner was very responsive to questions before we arrived and checked to make sure everything was okay when we got there. It was clean and well stocked. They even provided firewood for the firepit on the great back patio. It had the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. All the furniture was comfortable. Would definitely go back.

Wonderful Stay

Hillside Hideaway truly is a hidden gem! It was the perfect place for rest and relaxation after hiking in Shenandoah. The location is peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful back deck and hot tub for sore muscles. Inside is cozy, clean, and comfortable; a home away from home. My daughter and I loved our stay!
