Found two bugs. One crawling on my husband. And another on the floor. Took pictures to the staff and asked for my money back when I'd only been there 5 hours. Only 1 hour in the actual room. My room smelt like cigarettes and the whole hotel had a stinky kinda funk smell. One may have been a Beatle but the other was no doubt a bed bug. She tried to say I brought them in. Are u serious right now lady??? She took the cup lid I put them in as proof and threw the bugs in the air acting erratically

The outside,lobby, hallway, and stairs were worn down. The stairs were a fairly steep climb. The room was clean and updated. The front check in was friendly and helpful.

Stayed here before and enjoyed it more the first time. Hotel and room were clean and adequate. Could use less trendy updates like the touch-light mirror in the bathroom and instead have more basic refreshing such as replacing beat-up baseboards and doors, and a clean chair to sit in at the table in the room (which felt sticky and looked dirty.) Room was difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature, maybe because the room was very humid. Refrigerator seemed like an afterthought, hanging out of its cabinet and not level. Not sure if it worked, didn’t try it out. Bed was comfortable. TV worked fine. Room was quiet with the a/c unit running for white noise. Breakfast was very basic but ok. Overall a good enough stay but not enough to earn my loyalty this time, especially with the increased pricing compared to the last stay.

Hardwood floors in room looked nice, but felt sticky on bare feet. Maybe carpeting would have been better. Jay, the Manager, was very helpful and friendly, and made our stay pleasant and comfortable.
