We had to change our room 4 times in the first night. First time, AC was not working, then inspects and mosquitoes in the second room, then a rotten smell in the third room. Finally, the 4th room was ok. This is not to eb expected at such a hotel with such ratings and pricing after an 11 hour flight.

This resort represents the pinnacle of my vacation experiences to date. The accommodations were exceptional, featuring spacious, modern, and technologically advanced rooms with stunning views, all impeccably clean and quiet. The staff were exceptionally friendly and approachable. Be advised that the exceptional, abundant, and high-quality food options may contribute to weight gain. This was my first time staying at Steigenberger, and while there were some positive aspects, overall, my experience did not fully meet expectations. To begin with, the hotel grounds are expansive and beautifully maintained. I particularly enjoyed taking long walks across to the nearby island, surrounded by serene golf fields and a peaceful atmosphere. The gym is compact but reasonably well-equipped, and the breakfast selection was generally good. However, I was disappointed by the pastry station, which lacked freshness and flavor in my opinion. I also would have appreciated a wider variety of fresh fruits, as most options were canned or in syrup. Unfortunately, there were a few service issues that negatively impacted my stay. I waited over 15 minutes for assistance with my luggage on my departure, and only after calling reception a second time did a porter arrive. Later, when I asked to store my luggage safely for an hour while I enjoyed lunch before departure, I was surprised to find it was left outside in direct sunlight. Some of my belongings were heat-sensitive, and when I requested help from a porter to move them indoors, he ignored me and simply pointed to where it was. I eventually carried the bag in myself and voiced my concern to the front desk. Communication was occasionally challenging, as several staff members seemed to struggle with English, despite my efforts to keep my requests simple and clear. That said, I would like to compliment Madona for her outstanding
