The staff were amazing! Breakfast service was excellent. Our room was small but we were out all day anyway. There were a few maintenance issues that needed to be done such as the bathroom sink/vanity were not attached to the wall properly. It is a 15 minute walk into the town. (Uphill on the way home though!). We were delighted to drop our laundry at the front desk one day and the next day it was clean and folded and left on our bed.
A lovely small 9 room hotel. Staff are lovely, good breakfast and comfortable room. Fantastic value for money - would stay there again without hesitation.
The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Yummy eggs and toast. And the coffee was perfect. The whole place is very quaint. I sat in the garden and watched birds. Also the bees pollinating all of the beautiful flowers. It’s a mini botanical garden. It’s close to the bus terminal, a 10-15 minute walk (uphill). It wasn’t a bad walk to town for dinner either.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
This was a cute little lodge-type hotel. Staff was really friendly and breakfast was very good. I loved the decor in the common area and the cabin feel of the place. Room was a little cramped (especially the shower) but it was great for what we needed for one night.
Room was clean, staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was customer to meet our dietary restrictions but still was super delicious. We had a great stay!
home away from home. It"s like staying with your family in a well managed accomodation. The view from the dining room and lobby is spectacular so
is the well kept garden outside my window
What a great value! The room was nice (though the walls are thin - we were irritated by others at night, and accidentally irritated them in the morning). Staff were great, giving us excellent dinner options. If someone told me how much this cost, I wouldn't have believed them.
Friendly staff who goes the extra mile. They drove down to the bus station to deliver hiking poles to my lady who forgot them in the room. Great breakfast fantastic views
Very helpfull staff. They even drove down to the bus station to deliver hiking poles to my lady who forgot them in the room. Great Breakfast great views!
This is a warm and cozy place to stay and enjoy the view of the lake. It's close to the bus terminal and a supermarket. Most importantly, the staffs/owners are very generous, friendly and helpful. They are willing to provide solutions to meet the needs for different tenants. I would recommend this property without reservation.
The public water went off and the hotel didn’t have a replacement water tank for emergency.
So we had a full day without water.
They didn’t bring bottles of water to solve the basic personal needs.
This hotel is a gem in El Calafate. The property is beautiful, with quiet sitting places by large Windows with views of the lake and the mountains. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very healthy and they would make fresh eggs if you want at no additional charge. You can give your laundary for a very reasonable cost. We are definitely coming back.
It is located about 15 minute walk from main street. But you get the quiet and beauty and views (and a very reasonable cost)
The hotel is beautiful with a nice flower garden and a great view of Lago Argentino. It was a nice room with comfortable furnitures, very clean. The breakfasts were very well served. Sandiego and his parents are kind, very helpful for all our needs. Maydel helped us tremendously to find stores, bus station, and taxi. She even taught us Spanish and Portuguese.
We stayed at several hostels during our Patagonia trip and this was our favorite. It is really more like a B&B. Family run, very welcoming. We really enjoyed the breakfast and courtyard!
