This hostel was perfect for our short stay in El Calafate. The host was extremely friendly and provided us with our room an hour before check-in since the room was ready. No complaints or over praise. Easy check in, friendly staff, decent breakfast, they helped with calling a taxi to the bus station as well. Rooms and bathrooms are old and could use some care but they’re clean. Beds were comfortable as well. Great for the price.

Fiquei apenas 1 noite. A estrutura é simples, comum dessa região, mas tudo limpo e arrumado. A princípio achei que seria ruim porque a recepcionista não ficava o tempo todo no local mas quando precisei de secador, deixei recado e ela voltou pouco tempo depois com o secador no nosso quarto. Foi muito gentil, chamou um transfer para me levar ao aeroporto, o café da manhã foi satisfatório. Pelo custo-benefício foi o esperado.

Good, attentive service from staff. Hosteria is in a good location close to the main Street in El Calafate. The plumbing and extractor fans made horrible noises but the room was clean and as expected for the price.

Comfortable hotel close to the center of El Calafate with a reasonable price. Staff were always friendly and helpful, booked several things for us: taxi from airport, bus to/from El Chalten, New Years eve dinner.
