Destino Calafate was a pleasant surprise for the decent, economical pricing they had! The hotel room was spacious, we as a family of 4 had plenty of room with 3 beds in the room. There are a lot of storage space and shelf’s which made it convinient to store all our luggage’s. We initially only planned to stay 2 nights , however due to the comfort and convenience of this hotel and staff being so courteous and welcoming , we decided extend ti 4 nights instead of staying in el chalten. El calafate in general is a central location to several places like el chalten , a Torres del Paine , Perito Moreno glacier etc and there are daily bus tours to al these places available and they can pick you up from destino calafate.

Comfortable stay! Good breakfast. New hotel with good functionality (strong WiFi, international connections to electrical outlets, etc). A little bit of a walk (~15 min) to downtown, but not that bad.

Would recommend!

I would recommend Destino to anyone going to El Calafate. The location relative to the bus station is convenient, and it's very clean and modern. Also, the breakfast was quite good for a Continental.
