Beautiful traditional feeling hotel with a warren of rooms through various doors which was cool. Stunning room and view. Next door to Dean village, and so easy to walk to anywhere I wanted to go. Very professional staff.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The air freshener that was infused in the hotel triggered my allergies. The toilet ran constantly and the room #5 they gave us seem to be under a high traffic area and we heard foot steps all night. The decor was beautiful and very well done. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

Timeless elegance…

A beautiful, elegant, traditional Scottish townhouse hotel. A quiet oasis ideally situated in Edinburgh’s New Town, 5 minutes walk from the West End. Very helpful staff, lovely bar and restaurant and a great breakfast. You will want to return again and again. We certainly do.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful area

Absolutely beautiful room and experience! The staff are very kind and professional, and the room was a dream! We had gorgeous views out to Leith, a very comfortable bed, lovely sitting areas, and an exceptional bathroom full of amenities and luxury. The breakfast was delicious, both the hot options and the buffet. Would recommend completely! We had an easy walk into town, but the hotel felt quiet and away from the bustle.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Bonham Hotel in Edinburgh, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel’s elegant charm and attention to detail created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made our stay truly memorable. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. The location is ideal, situated in a lovely neighborhood with easy access to Edinburgh’s main attractions. This is clearly not a 5 star property. We were really surprised when we got there and saw the tiny room, the bed was as hard as a wall, the bathroom wasn’t spotless. Honestly not a chance this is a 5 star.

The Bonham is in a perfect location and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are a good size. Our only complaint was with the house keeping staff. We left our room at 8:30 am and our room was not cleaned when we returned at 3. This happened 3 times during our week stayed
