We stayed in Apartment 8 and the first thing that must be stated is that there is no views out the windows. They are frosted for privacy ... BUT... the location is very central and a short walk to Princes St and about 10 minutes to the Castle. Theapartment is spotlessly clean and stylish. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a washer and dryer and fridge and stove. We had to book with short notice and the price was excellent. Be sure to go online to book a parking spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay in our room without a view! ❤️

Room size was perfect for what we needed. I was a bit leery of checking in with no staff on site but it was actually quite easy and the instructions were clear. We had 1 bedroom plus pull out couch. Couch definitely needs to be replaced. Every time we rolled over it made a horrible creaking noise. Plus you could feel the springs. Dishwasher was full of dishes when we arrived. Although they were clean, we still had to unload before we could use it. Good proximity to all the attractions and restaurants you could want. We walked from the train station which was also fairly close.

The room was nice and clean. But, the bathroom was poorly ventilated, so it had a stuffy/musty smell. Otherwise, a very enjoyable stay and a nice affordable property!

Nice property in general, check in was easy, good sized rooms and really clean. We were missing some bedding on arrival and the oven wouldn't work but help was on hand when we called the number on the room info. The downside really was the noise. We were in a room with and adjoining door which didn't seem very well sealed. We could smell our neighbours cooking and see the lights under the door. This didn't bother us but I'm afraid the screaming and loud talking until 1am we felt was a bit too much. I understand in an unmanned building the managers would be completely unaware of this, but it did dampen our enthusiasm for sightseeing after two broken nights sleep 😴

Great location but very noisy

Great location for exploring the city and the room size etc was great for a family trip - including a kitchen. However, the bed was in really poor condition and the location is exceptionally noisy with several trash collections each morning.

Great location (quiet as midweek) and good size space but looks like university halls of residence. Awful cheap carpet with multipke iron stains, banged up/stained walls and doors, used baking trays still in the oven and lots of long black hairs between the duvet and bedsheets as soon as I got to the room (I have short brown hair). That lack of cleanliness makes you wonder how they are sanitizing the rest of the space because if the duvet cover was changed with the sheets I don't see how so many hairs got between the sheets. It was late when I arrived and the massive downside of having no reception (it's all automated) is there is no one there to deal with these issues and despite trying different avenues to reach them, I either couldn't get through or no one has replied as yet and I have already checked out hours ago. If this was budget accommodation I'd still struggle to accept the cleanliness issues but for the nightly rate at this time of year it needs to be much much better!

Comfortable apartment in a central location

The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed including a hair dryer and iron. Its a short walk to many bars and shops. The apartment was warm and clean. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely apartment, close to the city centre, a gem of a find. Parking was expensive but to be expected city centre. The shower/bathroom was fab. Sofa/bed quite hard/uncomfy but might just be my preference?! Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location for walking Edinburgh! Close to the park, castle and the High street. Walkable to Greyfriars. We absolutely loved the area. The apartment was very comfortable and gave us (family of 5) a decent amount of space. Very quiet, and a good price for the area and size of room!

Very nice place. Good location. Only thing bad was our room was right by the entrance door to our floor. A group of people staying next door would be so loud coming in at 3 or 4am. Plus slapping doors. We asked for some items. Never got them. So we had to go downstairs again to ask again. The guy at the desk on Friday was a big help.

Delightful stay

I would like to mention Liam and Linsey who were both extremely helpful when we arrived at the hotel. Liam went out of his way to sort our rooms out and assisted us to our rooms. Linsey was also super helpful on check out. The hotel was in a great location and was great for a big group of friends who were doing a charity walk. Friends from Ireland too details as said they would stay again.

Perfect location but dark rooms with no day-light

Perfect location, can not be better! Our room was on the ground floor and the windows was covered with blanks so we had no view and the room was very dark, which made us not want to eat in any night. Otherwise very comfortable, little bit old furniture but OK. Very nice with complimentary coffee/tea. Easy check-in and check-out.

Our hotel lady was very helpful and accommodating! It is walking distance to everything and the location is prime! The rooms are clean, fully stocked and large! There were 5 of us and we all fit in comfortably! Definitely recommend this gem of a place!

Had everything that a traveler could need including washer and dryer. The apartment needs a refresh, but overall it was good. A few cons: - there was a very at strong cologne/perfume smell in one of the bedrooms making it unusable - We got several bites either from something in the carpets or the bedding. Never figure it out. Checked for bedbugs and found no signs but something definitely feasted on us!
