I love the apartment feel. The place was a bit more secluded which I wanted, but you could walk to transportation or to the city center. I like to cook my own meals so this was perfect. The supermarket was in walking distance, an added plus. The staff was so accommodating and the place was immaculate.

Pros: Nice clean, spacious apartment. Walking distance to tram Cons: bathroom shower arrangement is interesting, there's a floor mop in place to move all the water into the drain. Whenever you shower the water goes to the whole bathroom including the toilet and sink area. I suppose it is for wheelchair accessibility but a hassle to mop the entire floor each time after showering and is still wet and slippery which is quite dangerous.

We stayed at Staycity Edinburgh West End for two nights (3 persons) and overall had a very pleasant experience. The location is great, close enough to walk to the city centre, with a supermarket just around the corner, which was really convenient. The apartment itself was spacious and well heated, which was definitely appreciated at this time of year. The sofa bed was adequate for our needs and check-in was smooth and friendly. The 24/7 reception is handy. One thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the bathroom. The bathtub was a bit dirty, which was disappointing considering the rest of the apartment was fine. We used the luggage lockers after checkout and the process was easy. For £5 a day, the locker fit all four of our hand luggage bags comfortably, which was very useful. Overall, a comfortable stay with great location and helpful staff just wish the bathroom was cleaned a bit better.

The room was overall a good value for what you got. Having a kitchen was nice. The beds are extremely hard with two small pillows, the what comes from floor and is hard to control to find a good temp. There is way too much mold in the bathroom. It would take minutes to clean out but has been overlooked too many times.
