One of the worst customer service experiences of my life. Due to weather forcing a change in travel plans, I could not arrive on the day of my reservation. I tried for two days to reach Premier Inn customer service and the front desk. When I finally was able to get a human on the phone, I was informed I had to call the front desk. They never picked up.
I messaged Premier with a request for help, explaining my issue. More than a week later, I was told they couldn’t help because I booked on Expedia. I was charged full price, turning an already frustrating trip into a bigger nightmare.
I learned a valuable lesson - avoid Premier Inn and all Whitbread properties at all costs!
And, after years of relying on Expedia, I might not return.
I will be sharing this experience with my friends and colleagues far and wide!
