The best thing about this hotel were our hosts Kevin and Susan. They were both more than helpful when we ran into a snag with other travel plans. Amazing breakfast, even the taste of the haggis. Very comfortable room, quiet location, easy to get to Edinburgh sites from the guest house.

I didn't need either of those categories but I understand they are available, the hotel is clean and the staff are lovely and helpful, the breakfast menu is extensive and very tasty, with something for everyone, I cannot fault my stay in any area and would willingly return.

First time at the Ceilidh Donia, Kevin the hotel manager , extremely helpful and made our stay so good. The location was perfect , down the road from Arthur’s seat and next door to Prestonfield golf course. Easy access to downtown and the surrounding areas with their public transportation system. Amazing breakfast , freshly cooked every morning… can’t say enough of this place , our stay in Edinburgh was awesome and I would highly recommend this hotel:)
