Hotel is in a great location for exploring Edinburgh. Room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice. All staff I encountered were very helpful and polite. Would stay again.

Positive - great walking distance and car park close by. Room was very quiet. Negatives- bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, shower head was broken and kept dropping down. Carpet was very stained.

We absolutely loved the hotel and the area, we would go again! Housekeeping was not the best in our visit, we had to repeatedly go fetch our own towels, coffee etc, that was very disappointing I believe on our 5 night stay, our room was only cleaned once, and not restocked, our coffee mugs were still dirty and right where we left them

The bed was uneven, it had multiple bumps in it and was very uncomfortable. The shower water pressure was not good, and no complimentary water in the room. Overall disappointed with the stay. When mentioning the issues to staff , they didn't offer anything for the poor stay. However the room was clean and had a nice design. Just expected more from a 4 star hotel.
