Absolutely loved our stay. Convenient to Edinburgh (by car), great staff but what made our stay special was the property itself - absolutely beautiful... it's like being transported back in time. The setting is beautiful - so peaceful and the gorunds are beautiful.

This place is amazing and steeped in history and at a very reasonable price however it is the staff which makes this place phenomenal, they cannot do enough for you to make this feel like a £400 a night experience.. stayed there for 8 weeks on buisness and loved it

Everything was perfect!! I had always wanted to stay in a Scottish castle and this one was perfect and just outside the city. We drove about 10 minutes to the train station with free parking and then it’s about a 10 minute train ride to Edinburgh. The rooms were very cute and spacious. The food was outstanding! We did afternoon tea with a view of the garden and could not have asked for a better experience.

The experience of staying at Carberry is what this place is all about. The house is beautiful and the staff is so The house is beautiful, and the staff is so accommodating. The WiFi is weak and the none suite rooms are very small, but the experience is what this place is all about. The grounds of the estate are beautiful and worth exploring from the gardens to the variety of trees make sure to take advantage of the trails around the property.

This was my third visit and it’s the reason I return to Scotland. The property is so unique and I always have an amazing time, so much so that I took my nephew from London! The team did a great job looking after us! The lady who checked us in and delivered our breakfast in the morning was a real gem; I can’t remember her name- but she was a genuinely lovely lady and I’m sure it won’t be long until we return!!! Thank you!
