No hot water for showers

Room and bathroom were quiet, clean and well presented, although bathroom did have a mild damp smell. Bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep despite a wedding being held in the hotel that night. However in the morning neither of us were able to have a hot shower, despite running the shower on and off over an hour (between 7 - 8am). When we spoke to staff on check-out we were essentially told that the further away from the hot water system your room is then you get less hot water when the system is in demand. Very frustrating that this is a known issue and they still insist on putting people in those rooms. Even more frustrating that there was very little apology from the staff about the issue who had a “well that’s just the way it is” attitude about our experience. As someone who frequently stays in Best Western hotels this wasn’t the level of service I have previously experienced from the brand and I will not be staying here again.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean. However, in August, our rooms were extremely hot- no air circulation. The window only opens a few inches on the top. The plastic desk fan doesn’t help. The food at the restaurant was very good.

Unfortunate the rooms do not have window screens as it was very hot that evening and so could not leave window open due to no screen and so many mosquitos etc. Street facing room quite loud late into the night with traffic passing close. Unfortunately the guest across the hall was in and out of the room every 10-15 mins from midnight until near 3am and their door slammed every time. The hotel should do proper maintenance to make sure all room doors close soft. Great service on arrival, easy free parking and decent quality restaurant with fair pricing,.
