Following the renovation of the old farmhouse, our vacation rental is now ready.
An absolutely quiet location on the edge of the village—200 meters from the forest—close to Lake Eder and other wonderful destinations.

o The apartment offers plenty of space for 4 people in 72 m².
o One bedroom with a double bed (2 m x 2 m), a second with a bunk bed (2 m x 0.9 m).
An additional child can sleep in a crib if necessary. Both rooms can be darkened with an electric roller shade.
o Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, oven, ceramic cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, and electric kettle.
o Bright living room with a sofa area and TV,
o Bathroom with shower;
o Towels and bed linens are included in the price.
o A large south-facing terrace with seating and an electric awning for sunny days.
o The green space is perfect for cozy barbecue evenings.
o During the summer months, we have fly screens on the windows.
o High-speed internet (50 Mbit/s) is also available.
o Bicycles can be safely stored in a garage,
o Parking for your car is available right in front of the apartment.

This is a non-smoking apartment; unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

The butcher and bakery are a 4-minute drive away, and the grocery store and bank are 6 minutes away.

The small village of Böhne is idyllically situated, surrounded by forests and hills. To the south, the valley opens up to a magnificent view. The lovely children’s playground is just a 3-minute walk away. Short walks, as well as longer hikes or bike rides, are possible from here in many directions. The Habichtswaldsteig trail runs right past the village; the nearby Kellerwald Beech Forest National Park offers many beautiful and rustic hiking experiences. The Edersee Wildlife Park, featuring a birds-of-prey flight show, is a major attraction.

Lake Eder and Waldeck Castle are 12 km away, and the well-known spa town of Bad Wildungen, with its various healing springs, is only 15 km away. The cathedral city of Fritzlar, with its beautiful half-timbered old town, is also 15 km away. Other destinations could include the Hanseatic city of Korbach, the Baroque town of Bad Arolsen with its beautiful castle belonging to the Princes of Waldeck, or the Twiste and Diemel lakes. It’s a good 35 minutes to Kassel, home to the impressive Hercules statue.
