Amateur painter (some of whose works you can discover in the gite), passionate about art and travel, Ghislaine welcomes you to a lovely country house from the beginning of the 20th century, carefully restored, quietly located on the edge of a bucolic small meadow (belonging to him) in the hollow of a peaceful residential area of a small village typical of the Chalonnaise countryside. Nestled on the banks of the Saône, Écuelles is home to the second "large gauge" lock of the famous river (many pleasure boats and barges pass through, for a guaranteed change of scenery...) and has a soothing preserved rural setting of agricultural plain & natural (between meadows, fields of crops, rivers and forests) nestled on the edge of a huge wild wooded area dotted with ponds (composed of several vast state forests), a real "green lung" of the territory classified & protected in "Zone Natura 2000" for its rich ecosystem (to be explored during relaxing walks). Very comfortable cottage. Spacious & bright. Large rooms. Elegant "contemporary" country character, opulent & refined, with Asian "ethnic" touches. Very charming. Warm attic rooms nestled under the roof in "cocoon" mode. Quality equipment, super complete. Une semaine en Bourgogne

Très belle et grande maison où il ne manque rien. Un extérieur avec jardin pelouse et fleurs à l’arrière de la maison et une petite terrasse abritée sur le devant les 2 meublées de salon de jardin. La confiture d’abricots maison et les petits gateaux de bienvenue étaient délicieux.
