This is a budget hotel which is reflected in the price. Excellent location on the sea front with free parking over night. It was basic as expected but clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Towels and toileties were provided. We stayed for one night and would stay again for an over night or weekend break.

I don’t recommend this hotel. Its only positive qualitiy is location. The first room we were given (3rd floor, lift out of order) smelt of stale tobacco smoke (despite 'no smoking' signs). We asked to change. The next room had an unwashed bathroom floor. The 3rd was small but we took it because it was cleaner and had a better view. When I noticed there was only one bath towel, I went down to speak to the male receptionist. I collected the extra towel from his office but the teabags he agreed to bring up to us never materialised. The whole building is run down and unwelcoming. We had booked for two nights but couldn't wait to escape after one.

Value for money stay

A pleasurable stay. The room was clean and well presented. The queen bed was very low and quite sunken in as I nearly fell off the bed in my sleep. New mattress’s to be placed and full 5 stars would be given.

I stayed couple of nights with my friend. The hotel is okay for the stay we needed it for. We left in the morning and returned back late night, so we didn’t spend much time in the hotel. The seaside is literally 2minutes from the hotel, which is great. The station is approximately 10min walk and there are shops and restaurants close by. The staff is polite and always helpful. Thank you ☺️

in general very good, arrived very early but that was not a problem as my room was ready. was given key and car park permit, that was very helpful. pity lift was brocken as i was 2 floors up. very space room for a single. will came again

Hotel room was nice size but a bit undated couldn’t of done with a clean here and there bathroom shower try was painted and bits coming of shower was very dirty around it all could not flush toilet properly has handle hits the wall it was ok for a one night stay room did not look like in photos when we booked

The hotel is old and very basic. The shower is very weak which takes time for bath. Toilet flushing is weak and the water replenish is very very slow that it may take 2-3 times to clear up the waste. The credit is they provide tooth brush, slippers, shampoo and shower gel that a bit surprise. Location is good, just few minutes to the bus station for journey to Seaford or Brighton. Staff are nice and friendly.

Dangerous Behaviour

The staff had been clearing the adjacent room and left everything in the corridor blocking access to my room. This is a tripping hazard and in the event of a fire a serious risk to safety.
