"We have stayed at the Almond motel a couple of times before in various rooms. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this motel is undergoing room renovations. Our room was renovated to a high standard. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was lovely and had everything you need. The one thing I would complain about for the bathroom was that it was very small and tight. Hubby couldn't get his legs in a comfortable position as the vanity was right there. I was ok as I am shorter. But I had to open the sliding door to get dressed as there was no room. As there are beds for 3 people, this would be embarrassing to do with a third person in the room. The bathroom could also do with some hooks on the wall to hang clothes on, we had to put them on the toilet. Apart from that, the room renovations are excellent. Much better than last visit. A mirror in the room would be good also. If someone is having a shower, there is no mirror to do hair etc for others in the room. Just a few tips for the motel for the bathroom. Great job for everything else. Great breakfast also, just perfect to get you going for the day ahead. We would definitely stay again."
